It's National Dam Safety Awareness Day—a reminder that dams in our communities should be properly inspected and maintained. We offer communities numerous resources and grant funding opportunities to support dam safety, helping to increase resilience before disaster strikes.
Our $38 million investment into the Mineral Ridge Dam will help @Ohio_EMA and @MeanderWater reduce risks of downstream flooding and protect the drinking water for more than 220,000 people in and around Youngstown, OH. It's part of our plan to make communities stronger.
