Countries all over the world are giving bhatta to the Taliban, not just countries in the Middle East but even countries in Europe are doing it and they do it in the hope that Taliban terrorists won’t attack their country in exchange for this money.

It's so obvious that Pakistan has been on its own for a while. Broken promises for investment, lobbying to prevent retaliation in May, and support for the TTA at present are manifestations of a more long-term approach from our supposed allies.

This is why Pakistan shouldn’t be accepting any 3rd party mediation on this. I’m not against talks, but talks should be done directly and if they fail then go back to degrading Taliban’s capabilities.
