It is the correct political move for Starmer to endorse the flag. Doing so reduces the sense that those flying it are opposing his government, even if many are.
NEW: Keir Starmer has said he hangs the English flag in his home and 'always sits in front of a Union Jack' . He told the BBC: 'I'm very encouraging of flags. I think they're patriotic and a great symbol of our nation.'

Starmer will make sure to distribute them all around the country in houses. At least when they were centralised in hotels, there were places that were safe. Now, nowhere will be safe. They cannot stay here.

In my second year as Prime Minister, I would ban Notting Hill Carnival. Why not the first year, you might ask? It would be a honeypot to catch and deport all those foreign criminals, of course. If they all congregate in one place, it makes it so much easier.
