I love the Tenderloin but it is a crime-ridden filth den; a paradise for those selling Fentanyl and other deadly drugs thanks to the inaction of the city.
I just found this photo of my car after an angry homeless person, unprovoked, smashed my glass to express her frustration. Of course, it doesn't matter because their rights and needs are more important than mine.
Like out of a science fiction movie, my dear Dodge Place Alley has been clean and drug dealing free for the last 48 hours.
The city is finally kicking in and it feels like a cool breeze in the summer!

Heart-wrenching scene in the Tenderloin last night. A person's erratic behavior, was a stark reminder of the area's drug crisis. It's profoundly sad how easy access to drugs can devastate lives, highlighting the urgent need for the police to arrest drug dealers.

Bloody syringes, rags with blood clots, vomit, human feces, this is what I find every morning on my doorstep. This happens in one of the richest cities in the world.
I feel like drug addicts have more rights than I do in this city when I'm the one who pays taxes.

Just to leave our home or comeback is increasingly challenging. I feel kidnapped! Thanks

All these people will soon be dead. Deeply saddened by the stark realities of drug addiction in the Tenderloin. Behind every face is a story, often marred by suffering and mental illness. Is not a homeless crisis a drug addiction crisis!
Young people, deeply affected by 'goofball,' a lethal mix of fentanyl and meth. Their altered behavior is a distressing. The lack of law enforcement on existing drug laws worsens the crisis. My heart aches for the families watching their loved ones lost in addiction.
Until when do we have to endure the harassment of the homeless? On Sunday 8:58 am while I was riding my motorcycle at Union and Buchanan, a man hit me with a stick. If I had been knocked off my bike by the impact of the club, the consequences could have been catastrophic for me.
Once just a son, brother, perhaps a father, now a tragic figure lost in the shadows of Dodge Street. Maybe Tranq, or Goofball, or Fentanyl, has turned his mind into a harrowing nightmare. I posted this a while ago, then rare, now a daily tragic spectacle. DODGE STREET*TENDERLOIN.

Alarming! At Dodge Street in the Tenderloin, fires being lit by drug addicts are not just lawless acts but a serious threat to the entire community. This dangerous situation, exacerbated by illegal drug sales, underscores the urgent need for an effective law enforcement.
"Homeless" have told me that they came from other states attracted by the free hotels, the number of services they receive in San Francisco, and the inaction of the police. Where will this end? I do not know!

Is 11 Billion the answer for these people to leave the streets and stop drugs? Is really lack of housing the root of the problem? Do I want to pay the bill? ...

LET THE POLICE STOP THE SALE OF DRUGS IN THE TENDERLOIN.
Reposting this from the haunting echoes of Dodge Street. It's not a housing crisis; it's a deliberate descent into drug use. If city shelters are rejected, why must we bear the cost of their choices? A stark reminder of choices that haunt us all.

So sad. His pants were tied with a rope, holes in the clothing, the syringe on the ground, the hands were swollen from poor circulation, and the harsh life on the street. His mother held him in her arms when he was a baby, now what would she feel if she saw him like this.
More people died from overdoses than from the coronavirus in San Francisco last year. Some think the toll, tied to homelessness, should force the city to re-examine its approach to illicit drugs.

Last night, at 4:33 a.m., this individual woke me up, trying to break into my home on Dodge Street. He was frantically pounding on the garage door screaming "Open the door" while furiously ringing the doorbell. It's like being in a battle zone to live in the Tenderloin.
I went to check if he was alive. People were taking drugs while the man in front of them was immobile on the floor. No one came over to see if he was okay. The man insulted me. "Dodge Place Fentanyl Sanctuary".

It is disturbing how SF funds subsidies to homeless addicts coming nationwide, feed the drug trade on Turk St. between Hyde & Larkin. This video reveals the grim reality: Police know yet stand by. A sinister pattern unfolds, adding to a dossier of neglect and waisted money.
San Francisco’s overdose death rate is higher than West Virginia, the state with the most severe crisis, and three times the rates of New York and Los Angeles.

Knife in hand a robbery. Drug trafficking and usage has turned Dodge Alley into a nightmare. Every night, chilling screams and pleas echo through the streets as people are robbed and assaulted. The heart-wrenching cries are met with silence as police presence remains absent.

Another anonymous corpse is dead on the sidewalk. On Wednesday, August 23, the morning sun casts shadows on Dodge Street, San Francisco. A silent figure lay still between the dirty trash containers, a life claimed by a fentanyl overdose's cruel grip. Nobody mourned; nobody cared.
In the shadowed Dodge Street, another macabre dance unfolds, driven by the dark allure of drugs. Here, lives spiral in a haunting rhythm, lured by cheap fixes, subsidies for the homeless, and lax law enforcement.
The chilling reality on Turk between Hyde and Larkin. Drug dealers, shrouded in night's darkness, peddle poison and intimidate anyone daring to expose them. While filming this, I was attacked, bottles hurled at my car. The police only exist in dayligh.

This man came from the Financial District and came to the Tenderloin to shoot up drugs. He couldn't do it and had to ask for help. Sadly in just months, I'll see him crawling on the floor begging for a hit of heroin, meth, or fentanyl. Thanks to

713 people died of drug overdoses in San Francisco in 2020, mostly from fentanyl, and that's nearly triple the number of people who died from COVID here last year.

must allow the police to enforce the law and prosecute the criminals.
These poor drug addicts have no way out, but the city allows them to expose their miseries to the children who pass by on their way to school or walk through the neighborhood. Something is fundamentally rotten in our leaders for allowing this. "Dodge Place Fentanyl Sanctuary" ®.
Smoking Crack with the syringe behind his ear. Taxpayers paying his bills. Drugs put a huge strain on several aspects of society, from healthcare to employment to prisons and jails, but my question is, when does this individual's responsibility end for us to take care of him?

A great article by journalist Erika Sandberg who pretended to be an addict to investigate the city's approach to the intersection of drug addiction and homelessness...
While harm reduction has its merits, harm reduction, without additional resources, pushes people towards death. Are we doing enough to balance safety and support? The image of a person struggling in the rain, high and alone, heading towards their demise, is deeply troubling."
