Great pleasure to be with over 100 community spaces from the ⁦@WarmWelcome_UK⁩ and ⁦@PlacesOfWelcome⁩ networks in Nottingham, sharing stories and resources to better connect and support people in the city.

Labour are clearly never going to ‘out-tough’ the Tories or Reform on migration, but it’s really not that hard to have a distinct narrative based on control and contribution which can then feed into a wider story about integration post-riots.

News on refugees & British citizenship really depressing. Obviously Government want to project ‘toughness’ & control, but people also want to see refugees integrating & contributing (as they themselves want to!), and this obviously makes that harder.
