On a personal note, I loved having my wife, Kim, join for CSM! I've attended 4-6 conferences per yr for ~10 years and this was the first time she joined. So special to watch her catch up with many friends from our time at @UDelawarePT, @NUPTMRS, and DaytonPT!

I had the opportunity to showcase one of our projects led by Kaila Fennell, a SLU med student @slusom who unfortunately couldn't attend. We are trying to determine if spatiotemporal gait metrics relate to knee joint contact forces in those with OA.

On day 2, she presented preliminary data that shows that patellar tendons have altered mechanical properties in older adults with knee pain. I'm excited to see where this project goes!

On day 1, she showed some of our data that suggests that knee joint contact forces don't change during a prolonged walk in adults with unilateral knee OA.
