@ProtecttheFaith I'm from Buenos Aires so I've known all about him longer than most people. I tried to warn people that he was bad news nine years ago but people didn't want to listen. Now, here we are.

@Charles_Billi @Yankees It's a question of who gets to define our culture, us or the Gringos?. Language is part of our culture. We can define our culture for ourselves and don't need any "help" from non-Hispanics.

@JamesMartinSJ You left out the part where he said it is a sin. That means you are promoting sin. If you cared about the disposition of someone's soul you would not encourage them to sin.

@JRubinBlogger @ananavarro What people like you don't realize is that you are the true racist because you think all Hispanics should think alike. Anyone who dares think differently is a Tio Tomas, right?.

@TonyMirabal_ @heckyessica @Yankees I'm Latina and I find it offensive. Why do you want to use a term that the vast majority of Hispanics find offensive?.

@tonyannett @ZacMabry Taylor Marshall is terrific. I've learned a lot about my faith from listening to him.

@dotjenna @AngelStudiosInc The entire reason for the movie is that we do need to talk about it.

@ProtecttheFaith Lots of things but three in particular. As a Cardinal :. 1) He lied. a lot. He just flat out lied right to people's faces. 2) the virtue signalling. Matthew 6:16-18. He didn't follow that. He's a very sanctimonious guy. 3) complete intolerance for anyone who disagreed with him.

@johnpavlovitz Today is a great day for America. The Supreme Court did the right thing. Today is a day for us to celebrate.

@zacdayvis @americamag The Jesuits could learn plenty about authentic Catholicism by listening to a layman like Harrison Butker.

@Hadas_Gold It would be nice if there was some but the media is mostly monolithic in its liberalism.

@realtammi @Yankees Because it's a group of gringos hijacking our culture. Language is part of culture. Spanish is a gendered language. If you're not Hispanic you don't get to define our culture for us.

@ThomasReeseSJ @RNS If you want women deacons or even women priests why don't you just join the Episcopalians?. You'd be happier with them anyway.

@mfjlewis Let's be clear. Butker did not say one thing that was untrue or in any way contradicts the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

@Catholic4Choice 100% of Catholics wanted Roe v Wade overturned. Anyone who didn't want it overturned is not Catholic.

@FrMatthewLC He was right about McCarrick. Francis would have swept the entire thing under the rug but for the fact that Vigano went public.

@LauraLoomer Florida is the best place to live. The reason it's expensive is because housing costs are high. Housing costs are high because so many people want to move here. They want to move here because we have a great governor.

@DJimRussell He also viciously smeared Cardinal Burke. He called him mentally ill. As if smearing Cardinal Burke isn't bad enough he then implied that he's able to judge Cardinal Burke's soul. Just unbelievable arrogance.

@HamishBlake_ If Haley had done the right thing and dropped out after her third place finish in Iowa and endorsed DeSantis he might have had a chance against Trump. However, we're stuck with Trump because of Haley's selfishness.

@RevRevRick @johnpavlovitz This is an act of love. He is protecting Pelosi from herself. He cares about her soul. It's no different from a mother refusing to let a young child to play in traffic.

@mfjlewis @LarueLaws6 @NCRonline You think deporting someone who is here illegally is the same thing as killing a baby? Are you serious!?!?! π² . If Republicans were advocating killing immigrants you might have a point. BTW, I'm an immigrant and I think people should come here legally.

@SeanPDailey2 The college and the nuns are too completely separate groups. They have no relation to one another. The nuns should listen to Butker, they might learn something from him.

@tonyannett "It is necessary to obey a Pope in all things as long as he does not go against the universal customs of the Church. Should he go against the universal customs of the Church he need not be followed.".-Pope Innocent III. Bergoglio is abrogating Quo Primum, we dont have to obey him.

@RevRevRick @johnpavlovitz The Church teaches that abortion is intrinsically evil. She doesn't agree with that. She has removed herself from communion with the Church. And yes, it is tough love. It's an act of kindness. It's no different from me preventing my three-year-old from playing in traffic.

@mfjlewis I get that you're obviously being facetious but this is absolutely true. I would love it if a Pope did that. A Pope doesn't have the authority to contradict John 14:6. Extra Ecclesia nulla salus.

@tonyannett Bergoglio is no different than Arius 1600 years ago. The Arians had the buildings and the titles but the Catholics had the faith. Such is the case today. The Bergoglians have the buildings and the titles but we Catholics have the deposit of the faith.

@skylar_kant @JamesMartinSJ I agree that homosexuals should not face criminal sanctions for their behavior but James Martin is trying to tell Catholics that it's perfectly okay. He's wrong. He is promoting sin.

@Paintkitchens @JamesMartinSJ Jesus never condemned cannibalism or torturing puppies either. I guess according to your logic cannibalism and animal cruelty are perfectly okay since Jesus never explicitly condemned either.

@americamag Absolute nonsense. I live in a large home in the exurbs and I have absolutely no intention of apologizing for that. The reason we do is because my husband and I work hard. We earned our home. If somebody is jealous of how and where we live, that's their problem, not ours.

@tonyannett I'm proud to say that I voted for Javier Milei. My brother and I went to the consulate and we both voted for him today. My native country is an absolute mess because of policies that people like you advocate and I'm confident that Milei will be able to fix it.

@ProtecttheFaith This is like saying on 9/11 the people on top of the World Trade Center voluntarily chose to jump. Jumping off the building was their choice. The alternative was being burned alive. Cupich is gaslighting people. It's fundamentally dishonest.

@KenGardner11 Congress needs to remove the ability of POTUS to unilaterally implement tariffs. Tariffs are taxes, Congress should vote on them and not cede its taxation power to another branch of government.

@JamesMartinSJ Homosexuals should not be ordained. We won't get a handle on the abuse problem until we acknowledge it is rooted in homosexuality. There aren't many girls who are being molested. It's all teenage boys. Keeping homosexuals out goes a long way toward solving the abuse problem.
