This afternoon South King Fire & Rescue, Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority, and King County Medic One responded to a commercial fire at Avana Star Lake. It was almost immediately upgraded to a working fire. #firefighters #southkingfireandrescue

When they arrived on the scene they found several fully involved shipping containers with fire spreading to the trees above. Firefighters made a quick stop on the fire and contained it to the shipping containers and the trees.

At about 9:15 pm tonight South King Fire and Rescue, Puget Sound Fire, Valley Regional Fire, King County Medic one, Zone 3 Rehab, and King County Fire District #22 responded to a fully involved residential fire just off of Star Lake Rd.

Seattle Fire Responded to a Hazardous Materials incident that evolved into a Mass Casualty Incident. 8 patients in total, 1 red, 7 green, 3 of which were to be firefighters. Seattle Fire said in a tweet that the substance was some form of a respiratory irritant.

The Port of Seattle PD BDU assisted Valley RFA with the disposal of some sort of ammunition or similar that was dropped off at the station. Just after 4pm, the item was safely detonated in the back parking lot station. There was no danger to the community during this process.
