As a child I was groomed by the catholic church. As a pregnant terrified teenager I was even more extremely. Promised support for life, promised funds, a promise that pregnancy is the most natural and healthiest thing. To then nearly die and calls ignored when I needed it. 🫠

One thing I think non adoptees can't fully grasp is the sadness adoptees feel when others talk about their ancestors and traditions. You got to grow up with yours, most adoptees don't have that luxury.

The pending un-approval of mifepristone is catastrophic—but creation of this precedent is WILD in itself too. Conservatives control the courts for decades to come, and they can just eliminate any lifesaving medication they morally oppose regardless of how safe + effective it is.
