Diggy Coit has an awesome story, and Ben did a great job telling it. Love this anecdote about Diggy breaking into his JuCo’s gym at 2 a.m. to get some shots up:
Diggy Coit worked as a pizza delivery driver during the COVID-19 pandemic, hunting a D1 basketball opportunity. “Nothing in my life was given to me,” he said. Five years later, Coit closes his college career at Maryland. His journey, for @DBKSports: https://t.co/hQ8KZ8mwrw

End Q2: Maryland and UVA tied 0-0 Maryland's offense looked more comfortable in the second, but UVA's defense held them to just one shot attempt. Maryland has struggled in the third quarter against top competition and will need to change that to win today.

End Q1: Maryland and UVA tied 0-0 Maryland's defense held strong on two penalty corner attempts by UVA. The Terps lost their referral, challenging the second UVA corner, and Klebasko and the defense stopped multiple shot attempts.

Another ranked matchup for @TerpsFH (9-6, 5-3 B1G) takes on No. 4 Virginia (12-1, 6-1 ACC) in Charlottesville at 6. Maryland's struggling offense has its hands full against arguably the best defense in the country. I'll have the coverage for @DBKSports

Resume comparison between No. 1 Stanford & No. 2 Maryland. Certainly think the Terps have an argument to be No. 1, but admittedly not sure what criteria the committee does and doesn’t look at when ranking teams.

Even as his father Steve Blake's No. 25 jersey hangs from the rafters of Xfinity Center, Maryland guard Nick Blake isn't complacent. "It's me, I'm gonna be the one to put in the work." My feature, for @thedbk:

Maryland men’s soccer is now the No. 2 team in the country following another ranked this past weekend. Terps host No. 14 Washington on Friday in a game that looks destined to decide the Big Ten regular season.

Sidney Stewart said he thinks he could be a better vocal leader late in games, nothing that he sometimes gets quiet as the game progresses. Also noted he wants to improve in his rush defense through the rest of the season.

Locksley on Dejuan William’s development: “Dejuan is one of those guys that has a really good receiving skill set, creates some matchups.” Said he and Nolan Ray compliment each other well, with Dejuan “a little more heavy handed every-down guy.”

When asked what he could do better as a coach, Locksley noted making sure players are available to finish games with injuries among the team, as well as improving red zone offense and third down defense.

"What I have to do as a head coach is find a way to make sure that those guys are available to finish games and are as strong as we possibly can." "For me, it's adjusting practice."

Michael Locksley said he's known Curt Cignetti a long time. "If you look at his track record, everywhere he's been he's won." Added that Cignetti has built Indiana "the right way."

Last bye week, Michael Locksley and staff gave the players individual prescriptions on what they needed to improve. This week, he said they gave unit descriptions amid a three-game skid.

The No. 25 jersey holds a special place in the history of Maryland men’s basketball. During the golden days of the program, it belonged to Steve Blake. His son, Nick, will be the next player to don the number. Read more from @TrevorAGomes: https://t.co/rD4rNHG7st
