Just In: Russia agrees to transfer 100% TOT of RD-191M semi-cryogenic rocket engines to Indian ISRO. Will be used in GLSV Mk3/LVM3 to increase GTO payload from 4.2 tons to 6.5-7 tons.

France’s SAFRAN has of course agreed to give India full hot-section ToT for a 120–140 kN AMCA engine… plus 2 unicorns and 3 Pegasus as a bonus under Project Cheetah. Sarcasm aside, until real work share agreement is out, this is all just marketing theatre.

We all bleed blue on this day. There is a reason combat pilots are the rarest of the rare, they dance on the knifes edge every day. To the bereaved family, sincere condolences. Tragic event. To those who see using to push an anti-India, anti-HAL or anti-IAF agenda, grow up.
Combat aviation is the hardest there is. Extremely unfortunate and sad.
