The government is protecting Indigo against foreign competition because it's still an infant industry. Infant ???? Indigo is not an infant it is a midget ! Indigo was established in 2005. It will stay a midget until we open our skies to international airlines.

Why is the government protecting Indigo from foreign competition if they aren't even hiring Indians ? If you can hire a 🇳🇱 Dutch CEO, you might as well compete with a Dutch airline.

Because there is much higher competition in international routes. Domestic routes have been protected from competition in the name of Atmanirbharata.
