Emilia Clarke had two aneurysms in her early 20s and almost died both times. But she pushed through with her performance as Daenerys Targaryen while also having to recite lines in not one but two fictional languages and act around imaginary dragons. Where are her awards ?
It is disgusting that Jason had to do this in the first place. Directors and crew should be making actors feel as comfortable as possible during nude/sex scenes. The fact that he had to ensure she had a robe speaks volumes to how little they cared for Emilia’s wellbeing
them looking identical is killing me like the MCU didn't even try giving Wanda her comic identity for a decade my goodness. and even then we're struggling to get spells instead of just basic tk feats.
this is my problem with GoT and HotD. everyone is so desperate not to make a fantasy show, because apparently its uncool despite the fact that the three biggest franchises in the world is star wars, harry potter and the mcu.
asoiaf IS a high fantasy book series.
Ryan Condal on Sunfyre:
“[Sunfyre] was described so specifically in the book as the most beautiful dragon who ever lived. I think it was incumbent upon us to try to rise and meet that challenge, but doing so in a way that didn't seem like we were making a dragon from a
oh btw do not take this as me shitting on her not having a saddle, dany doesnt use a saddle at the end of book 5 and i actually prefer it this way idc how unrealistic it is. if anythign it just shows shes got that superman grip. truly the strongest targaryen 😘
I headcanon Valyria as very much NOT a patriarchal society. We have more evidence to believe it wasnt than we do to believe it was such as Aegon, Visenya and Rhaenys were very much equals and we only see sexism creep into that family once they started assimilating to Westoros.
visenya not looking like a dragon/human hybrid def fucked with lore and pissed me off cause thats meant to be a VERY big clue at the targs actually being dragons in their mothers womb and then evolving into humanoid beings as they gestate. We see the same with Dany’s son
george was kinda insane with the nickname dany and its usage cause the fact its created by and only used by her brother within the narrative, but is practically the only way the narrator refers to her as creates such an intimate connection between the reader and her
@NonnyLand
Even then they were horrible to their side cast and extras, like the actress who played Roz who was killed off after she asked to be nude less
There’s layers to this casting actually because Vecna is inspired by Freddy, so we could say he’s Freddy’s son…and Robert Englund who played Freddy literally guest stars as Victor who is Vecna’s father in the show…completing the parallels.
I'm sorry but having Robert Englund (the original Freddy Krueger) in
#StrangerThings
was too good of a surprise, especially when this season has a villain who is very much inspired by Freddy.
To clarify before muting this.
I think he’s an incredible actor worthy of the nominations and wins he receives.
No I don’t care that he hurt his knee because he kicked the shit out of a bin.
Goodnight !
No offence but what has aemond actually done for yall to put him on the same pedestal as cersei ? Like hes the first to leave this room crying sobbing and gasping for air

Eternals was maybe the best superhero movie ive ever seen. Cried, laughed and gasped so many times through the film. Chloe Zhao’s visuals and knowledge of the comics are astounding. Truly a masterpiece.
thsi better be fuckign fake cause how do you erase the significance of morning being the last dragon, rhaena bein the last dragonrider, but completely erase nettles from the story ?????
🚨🐉Exclusive Wake the Dragon leak: RHAENA CLAIMS A DRAGON
Rhaena Targaryen will claim a sheep-eating wild dragon during her stay in the Vale after tracking it for some time.
Emilia really the only actor on the cast to actually answer this question in a respectful manner and understood why we were so upset, because she and Daenerys was the most fucked over by the final season.
I think its interesting that you can find many of these lines by Daenerys that shows she has broken out of her stockholm syndrome and no longer loves Drogo and very plainly sees whats happened to her was NOT okay. Yet yall will still ship them
the second luke and aemond started screaming at their dragons to obey it pulled me right out of it. like the whole scene was so well shot and crafted like it was intense and scary...then i realise theyre about to take all of the intent out of it and it lost me completely
im convinced about 80% of yall are lying about the eternals hate cause what exaclty looks "boring" about a film directed/written by an oscar winner with a AAA cast, well crafted CGI blended into some of the most naturally beautiful environments we've seen in a superhero film ?
HBO should have slipped Ramin Dwajadi an extra 500k to make a theme to be the next decade’s most iconic opening. Reusing GoT’s does not fit HotD thematically at ALL. It needed a Targaryen twist at least. And make it somber. The visuals are also very…like idk what im looking at.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but i think Missandei's death was harder to watch than Dany's. It was just so violent, unecassary, tone deaf and just so out of left field. She didn't need to die, her death was so meaningless. Just a ploy to further push Dany over the edge.
We see this with multiple women who carrie Targaryen babies but have premature births, and they either have scales, wings, tails or a combination. This not being represented in the show is another big trend of them trying to erase as much fantasy in their fantasy narrative.
Cant explain to you how much i love the name Visenya like george pulled that right out of his pussy. Regal, elegant and POWERFUL with a tinge of mysticism.
Still crying how the show had Dany proudly and aggressively tell Jon she’s never had faith in any gods but herself, yet in the books you cant go one page without her praying to someone’s gods and thats how you know they read fuck all😭😭😭😭
full offence but does no one at marvel actually pay attention to what readers want? how are we back to the mohawk after the amount of discourse we have every single time its brought back, not to mention we just had storm stans voicing how much they hate the mohwak for the xmen 97
•Rogue and Kate Pryde to lead new X-Men teams in Marvel's summer relaunch.
•Rogue's team features Nightcrawler, Gambit, and Wolverine.
•Queen of Arakko, Storm, may venture into politics potentially as a Mutant President.

Cant believe george never addressed it properly or did anything with it but Laena was the most powerful person in Westeros the second she became Vhagar’s rider. Like not a single person could ever intimidate her, she had the largest and most powerful living dragon at her side.
“Whats great about Jean Grey is that shes not only one of the strongest superheroes but shes someone who is also very smart and complex”
You guys this whole interview…the way she talks about comics and name drops writers she really read a Jean Grey reading guide
Okay so what you're saying is, is the very final scene of House of the Dragon is going to be Daenerys' eyes opening? cause that's what I think you're saying.
#GameOfThrones
showrunners D&D confirm Drogon took Daenerys to Volantis after she died
Kinvara, who was a supporter of Daenerys in S6, is the High Priestess of The Red Temple in Volantis. The Red priests are known to successfully practice resurrection
House Slytherin House Targaryen
🤝
Houses about reptiles and are clearly superior to everyone else. To be both a house slytherin and targaryen probably means you’re unstoppable
wanda maximoff finally destroyed her biggest burdon, Chthon, absorbing ALL his power and becoming the new Darkhold....she is truly the Goddess of Chaos now.
I had to listen to Tormund, Tyrion, Jaime, Brienne and whoever else talk shit and drink milk for 10 minutes, but they couldn’t include this 2 minute interaction between Dany, Missandei and Grey Worm, that emphasised how Dany cared for them?
Asoiaf isnt actually impossible to adapt accurately like people want you to believe, its just show runners dont want to adapt it accurately because they come in with their own spins and takes and opinions of the source material that fundamentally changes the story
Like i definitely think Targaryen men were taking advantage of Westoros' patriarchy and their traditions because George makes an entire point in Fire and Blood that the right of First Night is specifically unique to Westoros and that some Targ men took to it.
Emilia Clarke and Anya Chalotra remind me so much of each other with the way they act, especially as Daenerys and Yennefer...I dont know if its the way they deliver their lines maybe but its so similar
