Kind of hard to believe I would wake up to hear that the bridge off in the distance is no longer in the harbor. Francis Scott Key bridge collapsed today after a ship crashed into it. Cars are in the water and people are being searched for. Just terrible and tragic.

Early morning at the wheatfield and I snap this photo, I can’t help but be reminded of Capt. David Acheson. 22 years old. At the beginning of the war he served 90 days. Eventually using his abilities he raised men and ultimately become part of what would be known as the 140th PA.
