We could solve Apoferritin to 2.65 Å resolution. “Real world” samples like asymmetric 153kDa GPCR (M4 muscarinic receptor) could be solved to ~4.4 Å resolution and even managed to get a 4.3 Å reconstruction for 64kDa Haemoglobin with C2 symmetry, all using sparse data.

This imaging configuration could considerably lower the economic entry barrier for cryo-EM SPA and gives many EM facilities an option to set up a high-quality cryo-EM SPA sample screening capability without the need to procure costly specialised Cryo-TEMs.
