Whitehouse and Mortimer along with doggy Ted is one of life’s pleasures. No ipads/computers/phones. Just chewing the fat surrounded by nature in tranquil countryside. Such a natural few hours sharing fun together. Simple, but beautiful, so peaceful and television gold.👌

Number 2 son taught himself to play the piano as a focus activity to help with debilitating anxiety a couple of years ago, here he is playing as a guest at Chatsworth House on Friday…he has come so far and I’m so proud 🥹

Stand by Me (1986) feels especially poignant today. Rob Reiner poured his own childhood into the film, pushing for honesty over polish & letting the kids sound like real kids. A beautiful piece of his legacy.

In Hollywood, Rob Reiner was a rare talent: he could act, he could produce, he could direct, and he was amazing at all three. He was a creative genius who left us some of the greatest movies of all time, and he was a wonderful friend. My thoughts are with his family.
