24 years ago today, LCFS Firefighter Jeffrey Vaden Chavis lost his life after injuries from a house fire on June 16, 2001. His legacy lives on through the Chavis House, the SC Medal of Valor in his name, and his lasting impact on the fire service. #NeverForget #LCFS
