This morning at the @lexingtonsccoc Business Over Breakfast, Officer Jen Klinsic, Veronica Tefft, Rosy Woerner, and Bryson Shealy received Honorable Mention for their "Upside Down Showdown" entry in the Scarecrow Scroll on Main in @TownLexingtonSC. Congratulations! Great job!

TRAFFIC ALERT - Please be alert for a lane merge on North Church Street near Main Street for necessary asphalt repairs to the roadway. This lane closure will begin this morning and continue until the work is complete.

TRAFFIC ALERT - Be aware if traveling on inbound Sunset Blvd/US-378 near Hope Ferry Road that there is a lane merge into a single lane of travel due to work being done by a utility provider. Be ready to "zipper" into a single lane in this area until approximately 11:00 a.m.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Please avoid S Lake Dr at I20. A large steel coin came loose during transport from its carrier as the vehicle was exiting the interstate. After striking the cab of the truck, it landed on the inbound lanes of S Lake Dr. Emergency personnel are on scene.

In preparation for the @CountyLex Veterans Day Parade, West Butler Street and nearby roadways to include Butler Street, Berly Street, and Meetze Street will close at 1:45 p.m. so that floats and vehicles can stage for the parade. Seek an alternate route around these areas.
