Students at B-L Middle School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in a big way today with a colorful carnival parade through the school! The event featured elaborate hand-made costumes, vibrant flags, and lively music, all created and shared by our talented students.

Today we celebrated our incredible Lexington Three principals in honor of National Principals Month by surprising them with their very own cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes! Our principals do such a sweet job of leading our schools and ensuring student success each and every day!

This morning at 10:16 a.m., our Lexington Three schools joined in the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill. The Great ShakeOut is a nationwide event where students and staff practice what to do during an earthquake — “Drop, Cover, and Hold On.”

Last night, 29 new members were officially inducted into the B-L High School Beta Club, bringing our total membership to 71 students! We are so proud of these students and can’t wait to see how they continue to serve, lead, and inspire our school and community.

Don't forget that we have an Early Release Day scheduled for this Wednesday, October 1st. B-L Primary School will dismiss at 11:30 am. B-L Elementary School will dismiss at 11:45 am. B-L Middle School will dismiss at 12:15 pm. B-L High School will dismiss at 12:30 pm.

Don't forget that there is NO SCHOOL for students starting on Monday, September 22nd through Friday, September 26th as Lexington School District Three will be closed for Fall Break. Students and staff will return for their regular schedules on Monday, September 29th.
