It’s deeply pathological that the dream here is to punish productive people for doing an honest day’s work. Let’s “perp walk” the employer for presuming the right to run his own business. Let’s punish immigrants for presuming the right to sell their own labor.
If you want deportations to go up, instead of street theater with cheesed off NPR subaru people, we could have more workplace raids in red states at hotels and meatpacking places and perp walk the illegal employers.
