We are very fortunate indeed that Lord Moylan will be ‘sticking around’. There are few more indispensable members of the House of Lords.
Lord Moylan (@danielmgmoylan) says that in August 2023, he was given a cancer diagnosis and told it was fatal. Best case, he had 18 months. Fortunately, he's still here. This Bill says people with six months to live can have assisted suicide, but not all prognoses are accurate!

Imagine seeing British people at prayer and thinking “this is a great chance to stoke fear, hatred and division”. People who do that should have no place in British politics. Freedom to worship is a fundamental British value – one the Conservative Party used to believe in.

The nerve of this well funded lobby group and its client MPs. I always knew they’d stamp their feet and chuck a tantrum, but standing around with glossy signs about compassion while they try to pass legislation that would endanger the most vulnerable in society is a new low.

I do think it is important for parliamentarians to hear all arguments on this issue, including the silent plea of the innocent unborn baby.
This is what a 34 week old baby looks like outside the womb. The UK just voted in favor of killing an unborn child at this age. For no reason, just because someone wants to. They call it “reproductive rights” because they refuse to call it what it is: murder.
