Celebrating the end of year with a new publication 🎁🎄 New work now out in IEEE TCDS:
New publication: we propose an alert-state EEG measure for profiling individuals’ susceptibility to vigilance decrements. Relevant for identifying high-risk drivers and designing interaction systems to enhance automation use @Cognitive_Eng @TheN1Institute

New work by @Cognitive_Eng RA Manuel Seet published in the Accident Analysis & Prevention Journal. Using baseline EEG metrics, we can predict drivers’ average takeover reaction time, as well as the likelihood of accident after takeover in vehicles with conditional automation.
New publication⚡️We show that a brain-based objective index of trait attentional control can successfully predict driver interactions with an autonomous vehicle. A great tool for practical cognitive assessment of AV drivers! https://t.co/MzmW9Si8zX
