Don’t let the weight on the bar cloud your judgment. Just because an athlete can lift big weight doesn’t mean they’re necessarily moving in the most optimal manner or in a way that is the most sustainable in the long run. Moving well is the highest priority THEN move BIG weight

I think I'm in the minority here, but I don't open the weight room for our kids over Christmas Break. We train 48 weeks a year. I think 2 weeks off is good for everyone this time of year. Eat food, enjoy family, go on vacation, do fun stuff. Be a kid (adults too)! #WinTheDay

This son bought his dad a truck after his dad’s truck broke down. He’s not a NBA or NFL, DR. or a lawyer, hust a regular guy worked hard to get his dad a truck. This shows his appreciation. The gift just says THANKS DAD... I love you!

Coaches, Speed training and conditioning are not the same. Athletes getting plenty of rest and recovery between sprints is sign #1 of a good speed session. If you can’t stand seeing your athletes resting that much, turn your speed training over to someone who can.

Why should I play High School Football? 1. Because it’s hard. 2. Because it teaches toughness. 3. Because it forces me to be a great teammate!
