Clark Lea is a real leader. Doesn’t blame the committee. Doesn’t complain about scheduling. Doesn’t get defensive about losses or conferences. He models responsibility for his players, same as he expects from his players. I’m telling you, this matters more than you realize.

Can’t tell me this won’t come back to bite them. Can’t tell me the players are unanimously agreeing to forgo a bowl game opportunity. Especially seniors. Can’t tell me they won’t see a negative impact from losing practice opportunities a bowl game provides you. Regardless-
Breaking: Notre Dame is withdrawing its name from consideration for a bowl game and will not play again this season. The decision comes after the Fighting Irish did not make the 12-team CFP.

"WR Willingness" is a legitimate trait. A WR who is willing to: - Insert into the Box to Block in the Run Game - Run Full Speed on a Clearout Route - Bump into the Slot to Block on a Screen - Run a Jet Sweep - Compete on Special Teams ... is INFINITELY more valuable.
