These two teams played in James Wood’s Champions Classic on August 30. In the best-of-three match, the Colonels defeated the Captains 2-0 (25-15, 25-21). 83 days after that match, they’ll play again, this time at Virginia State University, with the Class 4 title on the line!

The Captains enter today’s match winners of their last 18 contests. Their last loss was on September 8 at Briar Woods. The Colonels have won 6 matches in a row and have only lost two matches all year (October 3 at North Hagerstown and October 23 at Kettle Run).
