#Basketball tacticology. The triangle offense should be taught in all coaching schools. Not for its spacing, but for its flow. 1. Low post.2. Reversal+weak offball side action.3. High post. This basic flow is present in many offenses: from Princeton in the 80s to the Warriors.

If you ever wonder what court vision, anticipation and decision making is about, watch this pass by 11. Beautiful. Transferable to any sport.

Experimental bball:.Situation 3: "defense cluster around basket, we occupy spots but can't drive.".Solution: . then you can shoot. Shoot it. Situation 4: "we just grabbed D rebound, 1 is ahead of me, everyone else behind. Should I wait?".Solution: Pass ahead and score asap.

Experimental bball:.Situation 1: no one's open, aggressive M2M defense.Solution: drive will collapse def., someone will get open, solves problem. Situation 2: aggressive defense on me, and basket clogged. I can't drive.Solution: friend is open. Pass ball for shot.

Method #3.Player-centric decision flow, U12. Shot: jump and grab ball.Rebounder: pivot, pass ahead (1-2 dribbles max).Transition O: basket is not defended-> score asap. Think "pass ahead". Occupy perimeter spots. HC O: .1. can I score? .2. Can I pass for score?.3. Drive & kick.🧵

Shoot when you're open. Pass when someone else is open. Drive when nobody's open. This mantra simplifies decision-making. It teaches players to read the game, not just run plays. No overthinking—just clear, actionable choices.

Very interesting drill for 1v1 skills. We could evolve it to 1v1+2 or 1v1+3, with other 2/3 allowed to move, pass and space the floor. This becomes a terrific SSG for spacing. Make it full court. Each round another pair is in a 1v1.

Movement skills:.Young athletes should be exposed to and be proficient in as many movement skills as possible to build the biggest base of athleticism as possible. But some of you think teaching back squats for a 10 year old develops elite athleticism. 🤣🤣🤣. March. Skip. Run.

Coaching experience.A lot of kids will dribble full speed up the court in TO, and as soon as an obstacle show up they will stop and grab the ball with two hands, stuck looking for help. 😉. Why? .It is hard for them to change direction, especially while running. 👇🏼

Everyone interested in advantage drills and SSG should discover Renato Pasquali. A visionary italian coach who I admire. He was ahead of his time.

@reidouse Surprizingly (to me), so many of these advantage drills, SSG, were already explored by basketball pioneer Renato Pasquali decades ago. I invite everyone to have a look. 😊.
