Stealing 3b is actually much easier than stealing 2b for guys with baseball IQ and feel for the game. Being a great base runner makes you indispensable on any team/organization with a knowledgeable coaching staff.

The only thing worse is the Showcase events where 300 kids who can’t fill out a medium size t shirt are charged $300 to throw 72mph and take 3 ground balls and get told they’ll “be seen”. “Long, wiry frame…room for growth”.“High athletic ceiling”. Sound familiar?.

Single game Friday, schedule dble headers Sat/Sun. Monday off. I know there has to be some coaches and orgs out there that agree. It’s only a plastic trophy, fellas. #Buffoonery.

games, sub par fields, umpires that don’t know basic balk rules and are more interested in getting the game over than getting a call right. Tourney organizers should be ashamed of themselves. If it was up to me, abolish tournaments. Practice Tuesday, play Wed, practice Thursday. .

The money grabbing that goes on at baseball tourneys is almost laughable at this point. Scheduling 9am games on a Thursday for out of state teams so they need to book a room for an extra night, gate fees at every game…ridiculous. Not to mention the product…time limits on.
