Coach gave me first full time job and I can’t thank him enough. He believed in me when a lot of people didn’t. I am a better man because of him and can’t thank you enough. He truly practices what he preaches and that is PEOPLE FIRST! Love you coach!
My journey started at the very bottom of the stairs… No connections, No favors, No handouts. Just Prayer, Patience, Purpose. I love and will miss my guys and staff. I’m forever indebted. Time heals and reveals….

My time as a HS sports reporter in Fayetteville has come to an end. I’ll be transitioning to full-time coverage of Duke and UNC for The Fayetteville Observer/USA Today Network. As someone who loves college sports and the state of North Carolina, this has always been the goal.

These two are the hardest working players I’ve been around. Nick sat out a whole season and didn’t miss a single function for football. Vontre has worked his tail off since freshman year. These two young men deserve this and their will be more to come
