Dana Holt became the first @HPHSWrestling athlete to win a match at IHSA Girls Individual State. Though her season came to an end quicker than she would have liked, she made history and demonstrated remarkable growth within the sport in a very short time. We are proud of her!

Ton of fun at Illinois Wesleyan as always! 4th summer in a row going. Sets the tone for the beginning of varsity practice.

Stuff like this sets the tone for a good practice too! Gotta do stuff like this more. Always in a better mood at practice and better at leading active instruction when fired up right from the get-go.
Two things I like to do Pre-Practice . 1. Run to the field. Takes 60-90 seconds. Mini-Aerobic session to get the body warm. 2. Lunges for 100y. Takes 2:00 and checks off SL Leg work daily. At 33 I’m just trying not to get too old and fat 😅.
