The BBC would never apologise for the decades of pro-royal bias they've showcased, but apparently, if they call someone by their name, it's a matter of urgency to correct the record. Nonsense. #AbolishTheMonarchy

The BBC has apologized for calling Kate Middleton, “Kate Middleton.” The British national broadcaster sparked viewer complaints after the BBC News channel failed to use the title Catherine, Princess of Wales, during a live broadcast on Armistice Day

Extraordinary words by Sir John Major on #Brexit at LSE last night: 🧵 🇬🇧 🇪🇺 1. “In an act of collective folly, the United Kingdom voted to lead to European Union across the world, our enemies celebrated and our friends despair.” “We left Europe on a minority vote of 37% of

If exclusively Christian RE is indoctrination, so is collective worship ‘wholly or mainly of a broadly Christian character' – a legal requirement in ALL state schools. End collective worship. Introduce assemblies that all children can participate in. https://t.co/Jt4xQr0xaE

So that would be the third that votes for Reform UK, watches GBNews, and supports an American sex offender over a century-old British institution? It also suggests a majority don’t believe any such thing. All-in-all, not quite the gotcha the Daily Telegraph was hoping for.

The real weakness of the BBC, as exemplified by recent events, is its failure to stand up to ludicrous claims from the right that it is somehow hugely biased to the left. Listening to Telegraph journalists bleat about a biased BBC, or Reform MPs enjoying more platforming than any

It would be correct, if he said “could guarantee our security” however. Given our “contemptible” little army, navy etc. But since Trump is a stranger to truth, loyalty and strategic thinking, and his best buddy is Putin, has to be at least a little questionable.

According to this ranking, Canada’s global reputation is now the 2nd best in the world, up from 4th last year. The United States has dropped from 30th to 48th in that same year, the biggest drop of any nation BY FAR. Its reputation-peers are now Kuwait, Algeria, Kazakhstan…

Wow, this is huge. Looks like the Dutch are ready to "unseize" Nexperia and give control of the company back to its Chinese owner. Which means, effectively, that China won. There was, after all, zero rational for the seizure anymore. As a reminder, the Dutch seized Nexperia
