Public train stations should not be urging ‘sinners’ to repent. It is obviously inappropriate and profoundly misjudged to broadcast hadiths or any religious scripture at passengers. We will be writing to the Transport Secretary to outline our concerns.

The UK is the only country in the world to impose compulsory Christian worship as standard in its state schools. We think it should be replaced with inclusive assemblies where instead of prayers & hymns, children learn about the arts, the environment, ethics & the like

We are concerned to hear that a teacher has been suspended over a picture of Muhammad in an RE lesson. We don't know precisely what was depicted in the image in question, but religious blasphemy laws have no place dictating what goes on in the classroom.

Alan Turing is 1 of Britain's most famous humanists. His genius helped the Allies win WWII, but he was not treated well at home. He was persecuted for being gay & chemically castrated. He tragically died in 1954 from cyanide poisoning. We remember his life & legacy this #LGBTHM21

Tolerance for all human beings should be a virtue that all schools endeavour to uphold. The UK Government has consistently said that schools will not be able to avoid teaching respect for LGBT people on the grounds of religion and we look to them now to take action.

If you're offended by a film you do not have to see it. You don't have the right to prevent others seeing it. The right to offend is a key component of free speech, and 'blasphemy' has not been a crime in England since 2008.

🙌 Great news. Homeopathy doesn't work and that's a proven fact. Stating it can be used to cure or manage any condition, except perhaps dehydration, is a lie that can lead to serious harm.

The police should *refuse on principle* to entertain or take seriously claims of 'blasphemy' from religious groups. Their role is to remind those making such claims to *get a life*, and that to retaliate or threaten violence is a serious criminal offences with severe penalties.

Schools should not have a legal 'duty' to carry out collective worship, nor should they be investigated. The Government should instead be taking steps to require inclusive assemblies that are suitable for all pupils regardless of background or belief.
