Imagine if google used flutter more internally. 💙.
Always the same story: Google builds an amazing *internal-only* tool that is better than anything else out there. Never turns it into an external product. Microsoft meanwhile uses the same products they build for external devs. And this is why Microsoft beats Google w dev tools.

This is so accurate. IAP will have to compete now, this is a win win for everyone.
Here’s one reason Apple fought tooth and nail to disallow web payments for apps:. Because Apple’s IAP is bad in many ways, and *so many* apps will move to web-based payments now not mainly because of the 30% Apple fee, but because of how bad IAP is. Let me give you examples:.

Huuuuge news.
NO FEES on web transactions. Game over for the Apple Tax. Apple’s 15-30% junk fees are now just as dead here in the United States of America as they are in Europe under the Digital Markets Act. Unlawful here, unlawful there. 4 years 4 months 17 days.

@RydMike There are many important issues that remain unresolved, but it's not the Flutter team's fault. They simply don't have enough manpower. So when we get a fast fix we should make sure to cherish it, because they are working really hard with a crazy long backlog.

Bought a home in 2021. Replaced the 10+ year old appliances that came with it all with LG. In the past year we’ve already had to replace the fridge & washing machine. I’m right there with ya. Or maybe its just LG.
I’ve entered the “they don’t make them like they used to” stage of my life.
