The result will be, if operation Iran succeeds, full US dominance over the Mideast. Russia and China will be largely out. Iran is their last foothold, last geostrategic partner in the region. Russia has lost Syria to the US. China will remain in the game but only economically.
Rather the Trump administration reshaping the Middle East. It wants to build a new Middle East based on the dominance of US allies: Israel, Gulf monarchies, Turkey, a changed Syria. Iran's regime had its opportunity to fall in line but it choose to resist, now it pays the price.
