I agree with Elon Musk that !!!ALL!!! EV, SOLAR and WIND subsidies must be cut. If the mythical invisible beast of "oil and gas subsidies" exist, please provide evidence of their existence. If they exist, we cut them. But remember, "business expenses" are not subsidies.
Whatever. Keep the EV/solar incentive cuts in the bill, even though no oil & gas subsidies are touched (very unfair!!), but ditch the MOUNTAIN of DISGUSTING PORK in the bill. In the entire history of civilization, there has never been legislation that both big and beautiful.

Even if the Earth was getting warmer (it's not), it would be highly beneficial to life and humanity if it did. As depicted in the map below, human, all lifeforms and the entire biosphere love warmth. Geologically and Meteorologically, Earth is slowly cooling into its next iceage.

A solar panel doesn't even last 25 years. LOL. Bad math. A perpetual cash burn. This project would bankrupt Europe more than it is now. The answer is to focus on the cheapest energy possible. This is the answer to maximizing prosperity and improving societal livelihood.

Fun fact: President Nixon had an energy independence plan that envisioned America building 1k nuclear reactors. If that had happened, the U.S. today would have 100% clean electricity.

Your houseplants love it, and notice that the 3000 PPM of CO2 does NOT increase the temperature in the room. If anything does affect the temperature, it's just your body heat. CO2 does not warm, nor reduce cooling, by way of it's dipole-moment (GHG mechanism).
Update: It turns out that the laws of physics are a thing and opening a single window in my office barely moves any air in or out, which is why the CO2 barely budged. But now I've discovered (with help from @Liv_Boeree) that when I also simultaneously open the front and back door.

EV's can only replace ICE engines if it's cheaper bereft of government subsidization and other unfair practices. Toe-to-toe, Fossil fuels are cheaper, cleaner, and more convenient. Essentially a better product and experience.
Elon is one of the few people in America who understands that the battery-motor tech stack is replacing internal combustion as the core of physical technology. And he might be the *only* Republican who realizes this.

Yes, gov-funded Electric Vehicles are part of the gov money-laundering machine. Cancel all gov EV funding, subsidies, credit-transfer systems and kickbacks. Allow EVs to compete on the open market and on a level playing-field with Fossil-fuel vehicles, etc.
President Biden's $3 billion for a @USPS EV fleet is lost in the mail with just 93 out of 50,000 vehicles delivered after three years. I am canceling this boondoggle and returning the funds to sender - the taxpayers!.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan just blocked the EPA from terminating $14 billion in grants awarded to three climate groups by the Biden administration. The order also blocks the EPA from recovering billions of dollars of funds which are currently sitting in a Citibank account.
