Some people are attributing cell network outages (AT&T, Verizon) in the U.S to last nightβs X-class #SolarFlare. However, flares only cause radio degradation on the *dayside* of the Earth. As you can see below, the U.S was not affected by the event. So itβs just a coincidence!

My company as done both. One big benefit of ChatGPT is it bypasses all the crap. You ask it "Act as a scientists. Is fried food bad for you" and you get a straight answer. But this is costing Google money. 2/3

Google is essentially an advertising company. They make most of their revenue from Ads in Google Search and Youtube. (Facebook is similar. That fills your search results with ads, or web results aimed at getting to the top of the result ... to advertise something. 1/3

Great advice for being or finding a mentor. It's very flattering to be asked to be a mentor. But there can be big downsides if they want a helper, not a coach.
My DMs are filled with variations of this question: βWill you be my mentor?β I say no to all of them. Most of you are doing it wrong. Here is my counterintuitive advice for finding good mentors/advisors:
