It's disappointing to see @IndependentInst take this stance. Of course Ukraine has to be a party to any final agreement, but it's foolhardy to think that Russia's main ambitions in this conflict weren't balancing against NATO and the United States. Issues outside of Ukraine's.
Trump’s Alaska summit with Putin will only be credible if Zelenskyy is invited. Otherwise, it looks like two big powers deciding Ukraine’s fate without Ukraine. A peace deal can’t be imposed by force or for show, especially just to score a headline or prize. | @Ivan_Eland
