A ⚠️ High Surf Advisory ⚠️ will go into effect at 11 PM this evening for the San Diego and Orange County coastal areas, lasting through 8 AM on Thursday. High surf and strong rip currents will produce dangerous swimming conditions during this period. #CAwx #RipCurrents

Preparations to repair the trail began last week and the repairs will be completed on Wed, June 29, 2022. Final cleaning and prep work will take place on Wed afternoon and Thurs morning. Please continue to avoid the area during these final stages of the repair work. 2/x

UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the project is now scheduled to begin May 31.
On Tues, May 24th the City will begin removing 3 unhealthy blue gum eucalyptus trees along North Coast Hwy 101 between Diana St. and Phoebe St. We understand the community’s concern about losing trees, given their role in sustainability and protecting the environment. 1/2
