As someone who trained at a school with full cadaver dissections, I disagree. There’s value in dissection, no doubt, but need to cover ever-expanding med knowledge in fixed period of time in med school. Must be efficient, and there are higher-yield curricular aspects IMO.
Medical schools are eliminating the use of cadavers, and that’s a shame: Technology is no substitute for learning from a real human body.via @nadir_alsaidi.

I hope I never need my kidney/prostate/bladder/any other organ removed for cancer. But if I do, I would, without hesitation, trust my life in the hands of my uro onc colleagues here at @CleClinicMD. Congrats on an amazing year at @CleClinicUro!.
