Anyone interested in joining me on updating a review on substance use + PrEP? Ideally 1-2 grad students. No previous experience required and happy to provide step-by-step instructions. 2-3 hours/week max, and authorship guaranteed. DM or email me for details 📩📩
Two years ago this week, I had my 1st first-authored paper. This week, my 30th paper was accepted for publication. When you work hard, good things happen 😌
It’s the 9th year in a row that I wasn’t with my family for the Chinese New Year’s Eve. How many 9-year do we have in our life? Sometimes it’s hard even just to think about it and I cannot hold back the tears before I eat.

Celebrate every small milestone as a Ph.D. student - Considering that I published my first paper in 08/2021 and I don't have a Lancet paper, it's not too bad huh?
Such a productive year, with 7️publications and 15 conference abstracts accepted for presentations. Not too bad for a first-year huh? I want to thank all my mentors here and there for their generous time and support. 2022, I will work even harder! 💪
It just doesn't make any sense that conferences still require attendees to bring printed posters. Such a waste of energy, material, and money. I have seen people just throw them away after the presentation. Just rent some monitors for e-posters and reuse them.

What a way to end my 2nd year - to receive the Graduate Council Diversity Fellowship next AY, one of UCLA's most competitive & prestigious fellowships. Next week, I will also start my summer research with the support of the Graduate Summer Research Mentorship

I just use a google sheet with columns that specify the key components of the manuscripts. I also have a color scheme to indicate the status of each paper (due to my severe OCD). I am less smart so this old-school style works for me. My lab uses 'Trello', which is a website.
