I feel awesome to see how OR decision support tools we develop and maintain that continue to make real impact, particularly for the airline recovery operations during extreme weather conditions.

I’ve learned new skill sets and domain knowledge via DevOps, agile software development and our internal clients. I am working with a bunch of smart people yet still able to feel valued and validated for my work and talents from visionary leadership.

Among all the interviews I’ve had, the OR division from my current employer American Airlines was the longest and toughest but the nicest. I truly feel that they respected me and wanted to know me personally via several manager panels.
