Good luck on the finals, especially to all the first year PhDs! We hosted a nice break from studying and research last week with tea and biscuits during the British Cultural Snack Hour!

The NU INFORMS Student Chapter had a fun outing this week at the Chicago Bulls game in United Center!

We held our inaugural IEMS Poker Tournament with IISE! Big congrats to our top 3 finishers who went home with a cash prize. The champion, Matthew Zhou, is an IEMS freshman who bested 1 professor, 10 PhDs, and 6 other undergrads!

Happy new year! The INFORMS chapter at Northwestern started the quarter off with the American snack hour featuring delicious pies!!!

Last week, we welcomed Dr. Sergey Shebalov, VP of Data Science and Head of Research at Sabre Corporation for an industrial panel, discussing the travel industry!

Last week, we kicked off this year’s Brown Bag Seminars with Professor Yiping Lu! First year PhD students are excited to learn more about the research happening in our department.

We kicked off the fall quarter last week with a donut social hour!

We held our annual leadership retreat last weekend with the new and old board members! We enjoyed apple picking and solving a corn maze at All Seasons Orchard!
