@CheapSeats411 My HVAC folks wanted to charge me $275.00 to ‘install’ a new thermostat. Hahaha!! Bought one for $40 & spent maybe 30 minutes on removal & install. I am a firm DIYer. I will stop before I FU completely. But most things are pretty straightforward. Good for you!

Thermostat decided to die last night around 9:30 (yes I tried changing the batteries) Made it to HD 15 minutes before they closed. Got home. Put in the new one. Woke up this morning and the house is still warm. 😃
