This is the next part of the story, was she open and honest with the mortgage provider and where did she get £150000 plus the £40000 stamp duty from?.
Hold on 🤔 . So Rayner, an MP, buys a £800,000 house with a mortgage. Apparently she put down ~£150,000 deposit and has a ~£650,000 mortgage. Who on earth would lend £650k to someone whose job is by definition vulnerable every 5 years ????. What am I missing ?.

Compulsory work place pensions were implemented to assist ending State Pensions. Compulsory minimum hourly pay rates were implemented to increase taxable pay. Neither were done to make your life better financially.
