Day 13 today. I am following the "Bible in a year" podcast by Mike Schmitz- I listen to the scriptures first and then read them over before bed. A lot of the time I’m confused or bored, not gonna lie. I’m still determined to get through the entirety though!

I bought myself a copy of the Bible a couple years ago but never got around to reading more than a few pages. That’s about to change. I’m excited to see what I find!

It’s easy for teachers to turn their English class into Woke Ideology class because as long as the students are reading, writing or practicing verbal communication skills, it is technically part of the curriculum. @PaulCalandra needs to get a handle on this.
One of our girls is in grade twelve English class today. Not a single English classic is on the curriculum, but today she had 30 questions to answer about her “white privilege”. Teacher would say a statement out loud & students would write 1 (not applicable) to a 5 (very true).

Making little activists is the goal.
In a Waterloo region 7th grade English class, pairs of students did a ~5 min presentation on a poster from the company “unlearn.” They were asked to identify the “issue” addressed in their poster, what we need to “unlearn”, and what can be done to “make change.”
