Great to see the detail of this vital change being outlined. A very welcome and significant step towards justice for Chagossians.

Nothing will compensate for decades of injustice suffered by Chagossians, but these changes will make life much easier for many many families.

On 23 November 2022 many more Chagossians will have access to British citizenship due to a legal change. Chagossians have campaigned for this for years this is a huge victory. Massive credit to all involved in the effort.
