Amazing and respectable play by Arias. Although the catcher is mainly held responsible for the statistic of Caught Stealing %, along with the pitcher also having the number attached to him, it is determined by three players! The pitcher, the catcher, and the fielder. When all.
We often don’t credit the infielder on the receiving end of a caught stealing. Here the Guardians Gabriel Arias makes a tremendous catch & tag of an inbetween hop throw from Austin Hedges.

These are the fun ones that are crucial to win! . "Maintaining the K-Zone" > "Stealing Strikes". Until there is a method to quantify this we will never have an accurate representation of the receiving/framing skill of a catcher. The Catcher Framing Runs statistic still does not
Not often that you get big target misses called strikes, however in this situation the miss is INTO the umpire’s visual tunnel & there is not a big move(Lateral slide) by Reese McGuire to catch it.

Work of art! . Wide open for success with aggressive turns and exposes the mid play "celebration" from the runner after rounding the bag. Get involved, there's outs available everywhere! . Hats off to Tucker for seeing the opportunity and taking the easy shot as well.
Cubs Carson Kelly trails Nolan Arenado on a pop fly hit down the RF line with no runners on base that both the 1st & 2nd basemen go for. He is in position to take a back door throw from Kyle Tucker when Arenado falls down on his aggressive turn.

On the right track, Trent! Unfortunately, for example & good baseball sake, the big leaguers are not. Once understood the solution is very simple. Instead of a forced separation, it should be viewed as one catching stance with 3 ordered questions in sequence with the games
@FoulTerritoryTV How about a hybrid? Just a thought as a solution. One knee with no base runners. Traditional stance with runners on? Got to slow down the onslaught of passed balls.
