@TheDisproof Yes, why do the like of @JamesMelville bang on about private jets going to COPs yet refuses to acknowledge that not a single climate activist or scientist endorses such private jets let alone uses them. And most are used by fossil fuel interests, possibly as a ploy.

@mattjcan The cost of the net zero plan is pretty similar to business as usual. We end up spending a smaller fraction of GDP on domestic energy than we do now. But once you take into account the huge costs of climate change, that's when the benefits of Net Zero really become apparent.

@SaiKate108 No, it isn't 'brilliant' it is ignorant of reality especially considering the clip is dated (2017.) Dana Pena's argument in the 2017 clip, which hinges on the idea that if sea level rise were a significant risk, banks and investors wouldn't finance coastal properties, doesn't

@BjornLomborg The statement from the climate change denier is misleading and selectively presents data and arguments while omitting or distorting significant context. Here is an analysis of the specific claims: Claim: "Satellites show global fire is down" Satellite data over the past two

Four days into the Republicans’ government shutdown, and I am so relieved construction is going forward on Donald’s $200 million ballroom. As always, he has his fingers on the pulse of what is most important to the American people.

Why would the US Justice Department remove a study from its website last week that concluded that far-right extremists have killed far more Americans than any other domestic terror group? . The now-archived report, titled "What National Institute of Justice Research Tells Us

The White House just announced its big “Autism Action Plan.” It’s not science. It’s a sales pitch. Let’s break it down 👇 Step 1: Scare parents. Claim acetaminophen in pregnancy causes autism. Reality check: 2.5 million kids tracked over 24 years show no link. None. Step 2:
RFK Jr is set to announce Tylenol causes autism. And then he’ll push the “cure”: leucovorin (folinic acid). Who sells folinic acid? Dr. Oz’s supplement company, iHerb. The same Dr. Oz who is now the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in Trump’s

@NickMcKim This still looks like a massive transformation needed. To call it a "steaming pile of shit of a target" seems ridiculous. This new target is still more ambitious than the trend set by their 2030 target at the 2022 election.

A new report by the prestigious US National Academy of Sciences concludes that the EPA’s 2009 endangerment finding was accurate, has stood the test of time, and is now reinforced by even stronger evidence:

How can anyone think this is the smartest way for a car to operate? A typical V8 internal combustion engine has 400–600 moving parts, including pistons, valves, connecting rods, crankshaft, camshafts, bearings, and gears. A Tesla electric motor has one primary moving part: the

@CaptainAdvance1 @PeterDClack Massive outgassing happens every day. The oceans outgas in the tropics, and soak it in at the poles before it gets transported to the depths with the thermohaline circulation which takes > a thousand years to complete a cycle. Any excess between what outgases and what gets

Wow. The US Energy Department has withdrawn its scam climate report and disbanded its „Climate Working Group“ in order to dodge a law suit against the scam. They must have realized that this scam report by a few „climate skeptics“ is indefensible nonsense. https://t.co/HbVObOw3n2

The department said the end of the Climate Working Group means environmental groups' complaint over alleged Federal Advisory Committee Act violations is no longer valid.

Greenhouse gases can be both feedbacks or initiate warming depending on when the concentration increases. Water vapour is a feedback now but a powerful one. Feedbacks amplify warming.
@CaptainAdvance1 @PeterDClack Hey Captain If CO2 drives temperature why do glacial core measured temperature increases precede CO2 increases? What is this magic? Please enlighten us

@MatthewWielicki While China do emit 12 billion ton CO2, only 0.08 billion ton is from manufacturing 256GW solar panels. And during their lifetime they will displace At least 1.3 billion ton CO2. So while your claim is true, it is highly misleading.
