Thank you advocating for 16+ students, so often forgotten in govt policy. Transport to school/college for students with SEND is another area where support suddenly falls away for 16-19 year olds. We need a more equitable system across the age range.

Disadvantage doesn't stop at 16, yet funding for disadvantaged students falls off a cliff edge at 16 and the attainment gap is widening. That's why I asked the Education Secretary what she is doing to address this gap so all young people have access to the same opportunities.
