Families struggled to escape and suffered while CPD stood by. This reckless method, all to apprehend one man experiencing a mental health crisis, put our entire community at risk. CPD would rather enforce militarism w/ their bloated budget than community safety. Shame on CPD!

The CPD is furiously spinning this debacle. After hours of antagonizing community members, they tear gassed a low-income apartment building with ZERO WARNING. An on-site medic confirmed that an elderly resident and a baby were sent to the hospital due to chemical exposure.
