It’s hard to put into worlds how sad this is. Hefin was a fierce advocate for many who didn’t have a voice in politics. It’s noticeable how many opposition members are paying tribute to his service to Caerphilly and campaign issues. Cwsg mewn hedd Hefin

Great to see plenty of Welsh members content in CSP’s Frontline magazine this month. Tom Fallon at the Welsh Ambulance Trust on the cover, and a great article about urgent community care, and our Welsh Board report covering developments for members in Wales. Well worth a read!

Interesting how much of the #nhs10yearplan is similar to the Welsh Government Healthier Wales Strategy. They both have the right aspirations, but experience shows that implementing at a local level is the real challenge. Accountability and a good governance structure is key

Chuffed that my motion in the Senedd calling on the Government to provide greater support to our Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) passed tonight. AHPs are an integral part of our health service representing 25%, of the NHS workforce and 13 professions. 🧵
